How Much Does a Trip to Pakistan Really Cost?

Every festival on this site lists its price per person up front, on that festival's own page — this post is about what's actually behind that number.
The listed price covers accommodation, in-country transport, a licensed local guide, and access to the festival itself. It does not cover international flights to and from Pakistan, which you book separately.
Prices vary by festival rather than sitting at one flat rate, mostly driven by remoteness and trip length — a short, lowland trip like Basant sits at the lower end, while a longer, high-altitude departure like Shandur sits at the higher end. Check each festival's own page for its current price, since that's the number that's always accurate, not this post.
Budget beyond the trip price itself for meals not included in the itinerary, souvenirs, the Pakistan e-visa fee (paid directly to the government, not to us), and discretionary tipping for your guide and driver — a few hundred dollars total is a reasonable planning figure for a week-long trip.
